D S Trace · find survey pins the office has not got
What this page does. It lists every survey pin saved on this tablet,
asks the office server which of them it already has, and names any pin that is only on the tablet.
It also names any pin that has no floor plan attached — a pin like that is on the tablet but
shows on no plan, so you cannot see it while surveying.
It changes nothing on this tablet. Checking only reads what is already here. It does
not delete, retry, tidy or alter anything.
The one exception is the “Put pins back in the queue” button. That button starts
switched off. The office reads the report first and tells you whether to use it. Even then it only
ever re-sends pins the office has confirmed it has not got, it never deletes anything, and it
never guesses which floor plan a pin belongs to.
It sends the report to the office for you, so you do not have to screenshot it or read
it out. The line under the buttons tells you whether it got there. If it could not be sent, get on
Wi-Fi and tap Send report to office.
Important — how to open this page. Open it from inside the D S Trace app menu.
Please do not type the address in and do not tap a link from WhatsApp,
Teams or email — those open a different browser, and the app’s pins are not in that one.

The report is sent to the office automatically.
Why the first button is switched off. Nobody should put pins back before the office
has read this report and said so. When the office tells you to, tap Unlock (office only)
and then the first button. Pins with no floor plan are sent back exactly as they are — this page
will never invent a floor plan for a pin, because guessing one would put the pin on the wrong floor.
